About disciplines
Within TrustOpen, learning contents and learning objects can often be organized within two types of structures.
At macro level, they are organized into hierarchies. In each hierarchy, a discipline is the root under which there are programs, subjects, topics, courses, units, sessions, lessons, tutorials and other knowledge transfering and assessing instruments.
At micro-level, topics and learning objects can be better organized into networks.
